Creating & Managing Wallets

Keeping wallets secure is essential for protecting funds. Using an external wallet like Nightly alongside Motion provides additional flexibility for managing assets outside of the platform.

Motion provides a built-in wallet system that allows users to create new wallets or import existing ones for trading on the Movement Network. Managing multiple wallets is easy and provides flexibility for different trading strategies.

Creating a New Wallet

1. Open the Motion bot in Telegram and navigate to the wallet setup menu.

2. Select the option to generate a new wallet. The bot will automatically create a wallet address and provide you with the corresponding private key.

3. Store your private key in a secure location. It will only be displayed once, and Motion does not have access to recover it if lost.

4. Once created, the wallet will be linked to your account, and you can start using it immediately for trading.

Importing an Existing Wallet

1. If you already have a wallet, navigate to the wallet setup menu and choose the import option.

2. Paste your private key when prompted. The bot will link your existing wallet to your Motion account.

3. Once imported, you can manage and trade with the wallet just like a newly created one.

Managing Multiple Wallets

1. Motion allows users to maintain multiple wallets within the platform. This is useful for organizing different trading strategies or separating funds.

2. To switch between wallets, open the wallet management menu and select the wallet you want to use.

3. Ensure that each wallet has enough MOVE for transactions. If a wallet has insufficient funds, it may not function properly for trading.
