Real-Time Position Tracking & Management

Real-Time Position Tracking & Management

Motion provides traders with a streamlined way to monitor active positions, track performance, and manage trades efficiently. By leveraging real-time data, users can make informed decisions without needing to manually check market conditions constantly.

Accessing Your Active Trades

  1. Open the Motion bot and navigate to the portfolio section.

  2. The portfolio panel will display a list of all active trades, including:

    • The token name and contract address.

    • Your current holdings.

    • Unrealized profit and loss (PNL) based on the current market price.

    • Realized PNL from completed trades.

    • The percentage of the token supply you currently own.

  3. Click on any token in your portfolio to access the trading panel for that asset.

Viewing Trade Details

For each token in your portfolio, Motion provides a breakdown of key trade metrics:

  • Entry Price: The average price at which the token was purchased.

  • Current Market Price: The latest price based on real-time market data.

  • Holding Duration: The time elapsed since the first purchase.

  • Liquidity Data: The current liquidity pool details for the token.

These details help traders assess their position and determine the best course of action, whether holding, selling, or setting additional trade conditions.

Managing Positions in Real Time

Once inside a token’s trading panel, users can make instant adjustments to their strategy:

  • Sell a Percentage of Holdings: Instead of selling everything at once, choose to sell 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the position.

  • Set Stop-Loss & Take-Profit: Automate trade exits by setting price levels for taking profit or cutting losses.

  • Enable Trailing Stop-Loss: Secure gains by having the stop-loss price adjust upward as the token price increases.

  • Modify Limit Orders: If a limit order hasn’t been executed, it can be edited or canceled at any time.

Generating a PNL Card

  1. Navigate to the trade management panel and select a completed or active trade.

  2. Click the “Generate PNL Card” button to generate a PNL card, which visually represents trade performance.

  3. PNL summaries can be saved for personal tracking or shared with others.
