Backup Access: Alternative Instances

Coming Soon.

Motion provides multiple bot instances to ensure uninterrupted access, especially during periods of high trading activity. If the main bot is overloaded, users can switch to an alternative instance without affecting their wallets or balances.

Why Use a Backup Instance?

During peak trading times, the main Motion bot may experience high traffic, leading to slower response times or delays in executing trades. Using a backup instance allows traders to continue using the platform without interruptions.

How to Switch to a Backup Instance

  1. Open the Motion bot and navigate to the settings menu.

  2. Look for the option to switch to a backup instance.

  3. Select an available alternative bot from the list.

  4. The backup instance will automatically sync with your existing wallets and balances.

What Stays Synced?

  • All wallets and balances are linked across instances, meaning funds remain accessible.

  • Trades and orders placed on one instance will reflect on others.

  • Portfolio tracking and transaction history remain available.

What Needs to Be Reconfigured?

  • Trade settings, such as slippage, gas fees, and auto-buy options, will not carry over and must be adjusted manually.

  • If using multiple instances frequently, it is recommended to configure settings the same way on each one.

When to Use a Backup Instance

  • If the main bot is slow or unresponsive due to high traffic.

  • If Telegram rate limits prevent commands from executing.

  • If trades are not processing as expected and other troubleshooting methods have not resolved the issue.
